In this unit, each teacher is required to present a case study of a student who they are having trouble trying to help or support. This student may be “falling between the cracks” in terms of support given within the school.
In this activity, I have choose a student from my clinical classroom and discussed this student with your mentor teacher and peers.
I've gathered as much information as I possibly could, including family, economical and educational background, any previous interventions, I will present areas that the student is strong in as well as the problem areas.
At the end of the case study presentation, I will open up to the class for guidance and suggestions that I may be able to implement.
